2. Description of Service

HomeServiceCost provides cost estimation tools, home improvement guides, and contractor matching services. Estimates are for informational purposes only and are not guaranteed quotes.

3. User Responsibilities

• Provide accurate project information for more accurate cost estimates.
• Verify contractor credentials independently before hiring.
• Not misuse the platform for spam, fraud, or unauthorized purposes.
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

4. Disclaimer of Warranties

Cost estimates are based on aggregated data and may not reflect actual quotes. HomeServiceCost makes no guarantees about the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of estimates. Contractors listed on our platform are not employees or agents of HomeServiceCost.

5. Limitation of Liability

HomeServiceCost is not liable for any damages arising from use of our cost estimates, contractor matching, or any content on our platform. Users assume all risk associated with home improvement projects.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, calculators, and tools on HomeServiceCost are our intellectual property. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without permission.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

8. Payments, Subscriptions and Refunds

Paid plans (the AI Design Studio Homeowner and Contractor subscriptions) are billed monthly in US dollars. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time; cancelling stops future charges and your access continues to the end of the period already paid for. Refund windows and the exact steps are set out in our Refund Policy.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service enquiries and handles returns.
